WORK IN PROGRESS: Re-pointing of adobe Arcade and east wall of Mission beneath arcade with lime/ sand/nopal mortar.
DISCUSSED: Adobe piers have been stabilized to the p[oint of the springline of the arches. The arches are to be re-pointed with lime mortar and stabilized first, and then the area of wall above the arch. The arches have been well-shored in the interim. The arch and wall can be readily preserved in place, without having to be re-laid.
