MISSION SAN XAVIER DEL BAC was founded in 1692 by a Jesuit missionary, Father Eusebio Francisco Kino. It was then that he became the first non-Indian to visit the village of Wa:k, or “Bac,” as he wrote it.

Tours start outside the museum entrance and last approximately 45 minutes. You do not need to sign up in advance.
Tours may be canceled or postponed in the event the Church schedules a service after publication of this schedule.
